RENGNGO CHEMICALS & FOOD SOLUTIONS
The renown Academician turned Entreprenuer, having business establishment at Chaltlang Ruam Veng – Aizawl, Dr K.Thanzami is the founder – proprietor of start-up ‘RENGNGO CHEMICALS & FOOD SOLUTIONS’, she joined our start-up cohort on 31st May 2021 to be the 18th incubate of MZUIC, with MoU agreement for a period of 18 months initially.
There are three main sub-categories under the umbrella of ‘RENGNGO CHEMICALS & FOOD SOLUTIONS’ namely:
- Food Manufacturing ( dehydrating mizo indigenous vegetables)
- ZoEi Enterprise ( marketing across the country). The first of its kind in Mizoram & local consultant to have FSSAI approval in area of food additive & preservation, having clients from Self Help Groups, KVK & several Govt departments, there is a good scope to extend in the entire NE region.
- Agri-Innovation unit that mainly concerned with its R&D requirement in the processing, preservation & value-adition of different agricultural produces of Mizoram. The ongoing project includes preservation of arecanuts in the form of skop, the produced of Bilkhawthlir village, Kolasib district – Mizoram.
